swing bag

Behold the Amy Butler "Swing Bag". I was looking for something to make for my cousin who lives in NYC that would be fun to have, but not completely impractical.

I was able to focus for a couple of hours (this can be a challenge) and put it all together in one afternoon - I was probably motivated to make it before I was over a month late for her birthday!

This project was really easy and I love how it came out. It's made of mid-weight cotton with duck cloth in between. The bag is reversible (always a bonus!) and the finished size is about 17"x24" so it is a good size tote, but not so huge everything gets lost inside.

I think I can add this to my list of favorite things to make - especially since I can't wait to make one for me!
